STEP-BASED FLEXIBILITY
Vanguard manages procedures at the "step" or task level. Each step can have attachments and several properties. Once the steps are defined using Vanguard's content editor, then the procedure can be instantly viewed through any of its standard templates, or, if you prefer, using a customized template based on your company's procedure criteria.

Step properties can include:

• Step number]
• Step title
• Notes, warnings, cautions
• Media attachments (other procedures, graphics, video, audio, etc.)
• Icon-tags for quick recognition

Using ATR's exclusive Vanguard Interactive, all Vanguard procedures can be output to PocketPC devices for full mobility and interaction or data collection.

Designed for maximum flexibility, hundreds of procedures can be quickly downloaded and available quickly and easily. In addition, employees can interact with each step of the procedure recording data or signing off steps for important compliance requirements.

Enter (or import) a procedure in Vanguard and it can be viewed and printed in a number of formats or FlexViews . Unlike conventional word processors like Word, Vanguard automatically generates the following standard templates without having to format another document.
